I have to go, I'll see you Saturday.
They just got Marc Gasol back so that is cool.
That is very specific...
When are you even going to pick a side (team)?
Don't worry dude, I'll get those cheese and bread. Just called Tony and he said that he wanted sour cream and onion pringles, and Tony is also asking if we should all bring our controllers. David also just confirmed with me that he is bringing another Xbox to the party so we have two Xbox's and I think we should all just bring our own controllers.
Yeah man, our varsity team this year has great chemistry, we don't have a standout star but we use team effort man. I am starting SG, David is starting PG, N'Diaye is starting C, and Tony is starting SF. Shaun is backup PG and Wilson is backup SG for me. We have a junior manning the PF.
Our varsity team lineup:
PG: David - #3
SG: Me - #13
SF: Tony - #2
PF: Carl (The only junior in our starting lineup, good guy, buys the team pizza's and raising canes all the time) - #20
C: N'Diaye - #50
6th: Wilson - #8
7th: Shaun - #11
8th: Mikael (You still remember Mikael right? The guy who blocked 3 straight shots) - #15
9th: Zack (Another junior) - #24
10th: Riley (A sophomore, he has good handling for a Center) - #32
11th: Marco (An Italian junior) - #6
12th: Gordon (A sophomore) - #1
13th: O'Connor (A sophomore) - #7
Our team is comprised of 7 seniors, 3 juniors and 3 sophomores. I have no idea why but they are sticking with a 13 man roster instead of 12 from when you were in Dallas. The team is still missing your presence as our 6th man. Lol.
Hey, did you know that N'Diaye, Carl, Mikael, Riley and Tony can dunk right? David been throwing lobs these days, we always start our game with a lob. The school calls us Lob City 2.0. In case you want stats, I put the best three and their FG% below as well as position and NBA player comparison for the fun of it:
Our varsity team lineup:
PG: David - #3 - PG - 10.2 PPG, 8.9 APG, 2.1 SPG, 31% FG% - Ricky Rubio
SG: Me - #13 - SG - 15.4 PPG, 5.1 APG, 3.4 RPG, 45% FG% - Dwyane Wade (Only because Carl calls me little Wade)
SF: Tony - #2 - SF - 15.9 PPG, 2.4 APG, 3.6 RPG, 52% FG% - Andre Iguodala
PF: Carl - #20 - PF - 10.4 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 2.6 BPG, 67% FG% - Tim Duncan
C: N'Diaye - #50 - C - 11.2 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 2.1 BPG, 52% FG% - Dwight Howard
6th: Wilson - #8 - SG - 11.6 PPG, 3.2 APG, 1.7 SPG, 47% FG% - Jason 'JET' Terry
7th: Shaun - #11 - PG - 7.4 PPG, 6.1 APG, 1.4 SPG, 40% FG% - Andre Miller
8th: Mikael - #15 - PF - 7.2 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 3.1 BPG, 50% FG% - David West
9th: Zack - #24 - SF - 6.2 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 2.0 APG, 43% FG% - Monta Ellis
10th: Riley - #32 - C - 5.1 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 4.5 FPG, 48% FG% - DeMarcus Cousins
11th: Marco - #6 - SG - 3.2 PPG, 3.1 APG, 60% 3PT%, 55% FG% - Kyle Korver
12th: Gordon - #1 - SF - 2.0 PPG, 1.0 RPG, 50% FG% - Bernard James
13th: O'Connor - #7 - PF - 4.2 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 0.7 BPG, 47% FG% - Samuel Dalembert
Gordon played two games but was out for the rest of the season because of a torn ACL. He would have gotten better stats if he played for our last few games. We score over 100 points for 3 consecutive games already. We are 14-1 in the season so far, our seasonal tourney is coming up so we'll be prepared. You still remember we play 18 games before seasonal tourney starts. Funny how our one loss was when Gordon went down.
So January 18th right?
Aight, since you suggested it, I'll try to book some tickets for the Kings game on January 31st. Also, since you brought up the Xbox and balling, I'll get David, Wilson, and maybe Tony or N'diaye over for some good quality balling and gaming. I'll try to ask Shaun as well, but I think he is busy on Saturday.
