A few years ago I logged on to Bleacher Report and started sharing my views about football. I'm an Arsenal fan and I used to enjoy coming online, giving my two cents and interacting with fellow sports enthusiasts.
My experiences on this website were crucial for me as writer and gave me confidence in other areas outside of sports writing. Scriptwriting professionally was my major ambition in life and I was fortunate to get busier on that front. Just being on Bleacher Report, improving my spelling, grammar and finding a writing style was an invaluable experience that helped me in my chosen career. Writing proposals and cover letters are just as important as the actual script itself and it's true that your writing improves when you're doing it more often. A good proposal and cover letter can definitely see that you are taken seriously.
I now also own a magazine, albeit a small one, and I honestly don't think this would have happened if I hadn't logged on to here all those years ago and had such a warm response. I owe a lot to Bleacher Report and I still come online when I can and enjoy the work of others. Anyone looking to start a career in this area should take heart from what BR users have gone on to do. I used to read a lot of Alex Dimond's work on here and I now hear him on the ESPN Soccernet podcast, doing what he loves. Hard work doesn't go unrewarded.
Nice article on Bendtner.
Hey Arran, Glad to hear from you. I ad a certain National Paramilitary service to partake in, change cities and a new job. Plus i somehow didnt want to right anything at this time partaining Arsenal. Now i'm back in the grove and hope you'll be on the look out for my new writes. Thanks for checking up.

Mailed you just now - check it out.
Hey Arran,
Just wanted to let you know that I too don't mind helping out (if needed) with your future assignment (saw it while on Mary's profile) :P
Cheers,
Shyam.
Dropped you an e-mail :)
I watched the Unbeaten run a while back on dvd - now that was a team to be so proud of.
C'mon Arsene - the man is toying with our emotions...
Hey Arran,
Thanks a lot! I consider at honour coming from you. I'd been away for awhile because of commitments to my college, and again have exams - so it will be a bit on/off for the next 20 days or so. Will try to do my best.
Let's try to get the Arsenal Community back to where it belongs - right at the top!
Cheers,
Shyam.
Hey Arran,
I've managed to catch up with one of the writers from Vital Arsenal, and asked him a few questions about the Gunners' season so far.. do check it out and leave a comment if possible:
