Melissa's Bio
My name is Melissa Grissom. I am 25 year old who is currently writing a book based on two hockey playing brothers trying to win the Stanley Cup but never met one another. I am also trying to keep myself busy by not always obesssing over if the Dallas Stars loose or not. I am also trying to find myself in this big world and trying to figure out what I really want to do in my life. I am basically here to write about hockey and here to report more on the Dallas Stars but will try to keep up with other teams in the NHL. I also will try to make own predictions for awards and other interesting stuff in the NHL.
I am from Dallas, Texas as I am a huge Dallas Stars but was born in Dearborn Michigan in 1983. I've been a huge Dallas Stars fan since they won the cup in 1999 but a huge hockey since I was 14 living in Detroit. I started loving hockey when I saw Steve Yzerman playing for the Red Wings and he was an amazing player. He was the most dedicated player in the league and showed me to never give up on your dreams.
Also Brenden Morrow has shown me what type of player he can be in the playoffs and the season. He has grown into that leadership they gave him during the 2006-07 season and one of the most mature players in the league. He doesn't give dirty hits as he is one of the cleanist players in the NHL and he's shown me also to never give up on what you want the most in your life.
I have written a few hockey articles but got banned for writting my own opinion and now I am here to write my opinon and get the best advice on how to become a better hockey writer. I am hoping to show people what I can do for the world of hockey by showing my passion for writting.
If you want to email me, you can reach me at melissagrissom09@yahoo.com...that's my personal email.

Hey Melissa,
Just read your new article. I liked it, but I know nothing of NHL so I didn't comment, but your writing is very good!

Haha thanks for the input Melissa!
The article is fairly interesting, it strikes a nerve with some, while others like it. It's really interesting to see the thoughts of others on the order, who's included, and who isn't.
I didn't have the most time in the world (it was due for syndication on CBS and I had three days...along with class and another job haha) so it's interesting to see who I missed out on, and who people think will be on the list next year.
Anyways, thanks for reading and I hope to see more of your stuff on BR!

In Fantasy hockey i traded Sidney Crosby for Morrow, some call me an idiot but I on the other hand call it a hunch. Morrow for Conn Smythe!
An article of mine you might enjoy is one far back in my writing library called the Armer Award. I gave it to Morrow.
With Ian and I preparing the Stars Community for the season I hope you will be a regular contributer for the Stars this season, i hope together we can make the Stars the best team section on Bleacher Report.
Also, thanks for all your comments and support. I appreciate it greatly.
