Bruce has yet to fill out a bio.
I really have only one thing to say...OUCH!!! That hurt.
Oh yeah yeah yeah
Now if there's a smile on my face
It's only there trying to fool the public
But when it comes down to fooling you
Now honey that's quite a different subject
But don't let my glad expression
Give you the wrong impression
Really I'm sad, oh I'm sadder than sad
You're gone and I'm hurtin' so bad
Like a clown I pretend to be glad"
Thanks for tearing up "OLD SCHOOL BAMA FAN" his arrogance is what's truly wrong with b/r
We are friends indubitably.
OSBF, it truly has been a pleasure engaging in banter with you. Take care my only Super Hero friend, if I may be so bold as to call you friend. However that is your call. Please comment on this thread after the Michigan/Alabama game. Who knows you may see a clown avatar staring back at you.
PS Like every Superhero has a weakness mine is that I can't see through lead lined materials, tend to have vertigo when I'm aware of how high I am, vulnerable to wood and the biggie spelling & grammar cause me to become disoriented.
Bruce, I have enjoyed our tete-a-tete and find you a hail-fellow after my own heart. You posted this last reply on your own BB so it took me a while to see it. Always know that like the Superheroes of the comics OSBF stands ready to stomp out those non sequitur comments made by the villeins of the B/R Report.
OSBF fighting for truth, justice and Alabama Way
Ah the pursuit of elusive scholarly knowledge. Often leading to the confusion of the erudite scholars with the ersatz intellectuals, as in the case of Alabama's institutions of higher learning. But I digress.
You sir pose the $64,000 question, "Have you meet (sic) our coach Nick Saban?" I would have hoped you knew your coach a little better than that. After leaving an illustrious one year career at Toledo, Mr.Saban took the reins of Michigan State University. I hope this doesn't come as a shock to you, but UofM and MSU share the same conference together. Which means that duing Mr. Saban's tenure at MSU, UofM and MSU met five times. And your're not going to like the outcome of those between Michigan and Mr. "Most Driven Man in College Football" Saban. Apparently he picked up his "Drive" sometime after leaving MSU. Michigan holds a 3-2 lead over Mr. Saban, soon to be 4-2. I realize it is sad he wasn't "The Most Driven Man in Pro Football".
But on a more serious note, thank you for the encouraging words for Mr. Robinson, Mrs. Robinson's son. I too can say with impunity "Roll Tide", but why? GO BLUE!!!
Bruce, I enjoyed reading your (?) reply as it was quite witty and jocular which made me to smile and giggle. But enough small talk...
" And as we all know, 'Education' in Alabama can mean something completely different than the rest of the U.S" Yes, we do don't we. As Education is no longer the wonted term, for we prefer "pedagogical pursuits" to be the in vogue today and I wouldn't won't you to sound like a "hick" if you ever came to Alabama.
As for " I do hope the entire Alabama team shares your confidence" as much as I long to give you some iota of hope,... (dramatic pause)... I can not. Have you meet our coach Nick Saban? Didn't think so. If I were to write his short bio it would be titled "The Most Driven Man in College Football". Be sure the over confidence thing is on his checklist. I wish Mr. Robinson nothing but good luck after 9/1/12 on his quest for the Heisman Trophy. Our third team Qb will be our scout team "Denard". His name is Blake Sims a Qb in high school like DR but move to wide-out because of his 4.3 forty yard dash speed. This should give us a good representation of "denard's"abilities.
As an Alabama fan who is confident in his own skin to say: Go Blue! but Roll Tide
Hello Bruce, I do enjoy dry humor and I just read your message to me and it brought a smile to my face. Your (I hope that this is the correct usage) right, time to fess up: I'm dyslexic, poor phonological awareness which means I can't spell either, product of a poor educational system (do I need to pause while you dry your eyes?) and thought english class was for girls. Who knew I have to use this stuff the rest of my life. I know you did not knowingly make fun of my disability so it's ok. Also a poor typist.

Now to your(?) question. What can I duduce from the question knowing that you could Google the answer, probably already know it, querying me to see if I know or more likely to prove some veiled point that you will shortly make me awear of. I'm going to go with the "veiled point" guess.
I have watched all 3 games and Michigan holds a 2-1 advantage, now why do you really ask? By the way the last game we lost was on a missed extra point in OT which was depressing.
Bruce, I can see from your picture you're(?) a troubled young man.(kidding) But, you will be trobled come 9/1/12 maybe even distraught at times. I know what you're(?) going to say or type and forget it not going to happen. This will be Nick Saban's best team, the O-line has 4 future NFL players (3 1st round) 2 of which were the #2 overall rated high school recruits in the nation. Our defense will be as good as last year maybe better. It's not our style at Alabama to run up the score so 35-0, 42-7 should be about right.
"We'll see how this clown does after Alabama's opening week loss to Michigan"
I suggest you be man enough to replace that pic with a clown pic for a week if Michigan does lose. It would only be decent.
I credited you with the correction on my bio check it out. Rollllllllll Tiddddddee
