About

My name is Matt Reed and I’m a senior at the University of Miami double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Theatre Arts with a minor in Business Law.

I am actively involved in UM’s newspaper The Miami Hurricane, radio station 90.5 WVUM, and television station UMTV.

I have lived in Illinois, Maryland, California, Florida, and Massachusetts… so I can find a reason to root for almost any team (except Philadelphia and New York teams).

My favorite teams are: Miami Hurricanes football/baseball, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins.

When I'm not watching sports I like to hang with friends, go to the beach, and enjoy the city of Miami. I'm also a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at UM.

I'm excited to be part of Bleacher Report's Inaugural Writing Internship Class.
