Just wanted to start my biography out by saying that I'm a part of Bleacher Report's Inaugural Writing Internship program. My focus will be the Ohio State Buckeyes football program, but I'll definitely be ranting and raving about my favorite Cincinnati sports teams also.

As a junior in college this last year, I was a sports staff writer for Ohio University's student newspaper The Post. I covered a range of sports, starting out with our field hockey team. After covering our women's basketball team in the winter, I followed our football team during its spring practices. Along with game stories, I got to write interesting and in-depth feature stories, like figure skating and rapping players on the women's basketball team, a forward on the men's team that was on Student Senate and a look into the effect of religion on athletes. I will cover football and basketball next year, and will also be our assistant sports editor.

I'm from Cincinnati, and the city started my love for sports. I'm a diehard Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan, along with the University of Cincinnati Bearcats.

Along with the Bleacher Report Internship, I will also be covering the Southern Ohio Copperheads, a collegiate summer baseball team here in Athens. With that said, this summer will definitely be an exciting one as I get to write about the things I love the most.
