Ryan McNish is part of the inagural writing internship class for the Bleacher Report, as well as a recent graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in English literature.
He spent the majority of his life a Notre Dame football fan before attending the University of Michigan, whereupon his allegiances slowly began to change. Today, he remains torn between these two football worlds.
Ryan's passion in journalism stems from connecting popular events in mainstream sports and dissecting the ways in which these events represent different aspects of human life and interaction. Most notably, the components of race, gender, and socioeconomic status, and how they factor into stories which at first glance seem to gloss over such issues.
In his recent past he has held interviews with emmy award winning CNN correspondents, New York Times journalists/editors, as well as award winning novelists.

    I know you will see the comment in the section Ryan but I thought you should know that with my videos I don't exactly have top notch editing programs to work with so I make best with what I have. I can take the criticism no problem, but that is something I just thought you should know because even with crappy editing programs I still put a lot of time into making them.
