About

I've always loved sports, since I was a little kid. My favourite sports have changed over the years with the ones I played, but at this point I have settled on football and basketball (college basketball, mostly) as my favourite sports with hockey being a close third, and baseball bringing up the rear. I loved ABC's Wide World of Sports, and I love watching international sports shows, so soccer, rugby, open-wheel racing and boxing are some of my other favourite sports. I don't really play anything anymore, golf on occasion, some pickup basketball and baseball here and there, some road hockey (it is eternally embarassing how bad of an ice skater I am for a born-n-bred Canadian) and other stuff. I'm married with a baby girl, and I generally enjoy life, especially when the Oakland Raiders, Georgetown Hoyas, Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Blue Jays and Clemson Tigers (NCAA football) are winning.

I will probably mostly write about football, the Raiders, college hoops and Georgetown. However, I do love the Onion, and since they don't take submissions, the only place I can write my sports-themed Onion articles is here. Hope you enjoy the humour as well

Justin, I've missed your Oakland Raiders Pressures, Hurries, and Knockdowns the last few weeks. Do you plan on writing those anymore?

Hey, would you be able to send your e mail to klangan@omnipossible.com? I want to get the B/R community leaders on a mailing list for a press release on behalf of Sports Media 101.

    Thanks

Just Finished It. Fantastic work!! The one thing I agree with the most is that I constantly hear how bad the Raiders are/ how bad Campbell is from all of the Jets fans I talk to. I hope the Raiders absolutely demolish them in the home opener. Anyway, extremely glad to see you're continuing PHK and root hard for the Raiders tonight!! Thanks for the response and again great article and column.

    Hey Justin

I was just wondering if you were continuing Pressures, Hurries and Knockdowns this season? I really enjoyed them last season and I hope you will continue with them this year.

    Thanks,
    Anthony

More reason to believe Oakland is and will continue to have the better long-term talent under the age of 30:
