First and foremost I am part of Bleacher Report's Inaugural Writing Internship Class. With this opportunity on the website I will be covering all of Arizona's pro sports teams with an emphasis on the Diamondbacks, Cardinals and Suns.
More personally, I am a student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. I am employed by The State Press (the school's campus newspaper) and this fall will be covering the Sun Devil's football team for the paper.
Additionally, I work part-time as a on-air play-by-play talent for the AIA (Arizona Interscholastic Association) calling high school sporting events across the valley.
I am looking forward to bringing you all the new, exciting, interesting and weird news regarding all your favorite Arizona pro sports teams.

Are you Boise State alumni,or are just a Boise Homer?
Please go report about something that you know well. You seem to do a good job with basketball and baseball but when it comes to reporting on the fans in Cleveland you should keep my name out of your mouth.
If adressed as Browns Fan I and many others like me here in Ohio will reply with some significant affirmation like, "Yup. I bleed orange." or "Until the day I die."
Talk to Terry pluto if you want to know why we do the things we do, like make derrogatory signs about the team and its management. We have been beaten down every time our team has gotten close to the AFC ring since the 60's. I was born in 1969 and have been a browns fan since I knew what a football was so I have never seen anything but loss and pain from my favorite team.
Instead of writing about things that you could not possibly understand maybe you should take the time to read this book. "False Start . . . .
better yet finish your degree and then write a book about why you shouldnt' insult entire cities when you should be writing about the sports teams instead.
I would love to resort to name calling right about now but I don't think that you will take the hint. I will instead make this simple and plain . . . you should never insult the fans unless they deserve it.(like when they start a fight with the other team or throw things onto the field) What you have done is essentially kicking a good man when he is down. . . . very bad form.

using wikipedia as a credible source was outlawed in what, fourth grade?
Wow that's a mature and professional response from someone who hopes to be a credible journalist someday.
Apparently you missed the major two points.
1) The Browns have the largest fan club of any NFL franchise even with a losing recond every year but 1 since their return to the league.
2) Despite that fact they've still sold out just about every game during that time. 59-117 since their return to the league.
Those 2 facts are irrefutable. If this article is strictly your opinion you are certainly entitled to it.
In our little town there are 2 sports bars of which one is a Browns Backers site. Even with the 1-11 start for the team last year the place was packed every week.
Ask any Steelers fan if Browns fans are among the most passionate and they will agree.
Ask any Browns fan if Steelers fans are among the most passionate and they will agree.
The fans of each team may hate the other's team but we respect that each has a rabid fan base.
The most prominent organization of Browns fans is the Browns Backers Worldwide (BBW). The organization has approximately 93,100 members and is considered the largest sports-fan organization in the USA. Browns Backers clubs can be found in every major city in the United States, and in a number of military bases throughout the world, with the largest club being in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, the organization has a sizable foreign presence in places as far away as Egypt, Australia, Japan, and Sri Lanka. According to The Official Fan Club of the Cleveland Browns, the two largest international fan clubs are in Alon Shvut, Israel and Niagara, Canada, with Alon Shvut having 129 members and Niagara having 310.
A 2006 study conducted by Bizjournal determined that Browns fans are the most loyal fans in the NFL. The study, while not scientific, was largely based on fan loyalty during winning and losing seasons (however, it does not account for the ratio of winning to losing seasons by a team), attendance at games, and challenges confronting fans (such as inclement weather or long-term poor performance of their team). The study noted that Browns fans filled 99.8% of the seats at Cleveland Browns Stadium during the last seven seasons, despite a combined record of 36 wins and 76 losses over that span.
To say the Cleveland Browns fans are bandwagon fans is laughable. Every home game the stadium is packed.no matter how bad the team is. Since they've been back there's been a hell of a lot more bad than good.
They have the largest NFL fanclub in the world as well. What are you missing Tyler???
This guy is obiviously a grren horn writer, that knows very little about nfl history,or perhaps his story should be about the most die hard fans.
If you want to see bandwagon fans, look at the pittspuke steeler fans.As they continue on thier slide to the bottom of the afc north, those bandwagon fans will be jumping off like the street rats they are.
Do you even know what a bandwagon fan is?......It is a fan that only supprts a team when they are winning.
