I am a weekend warrior after THE BCS NATIONAL TITLE GAME...
No worries, Thanks for updating the information. I appreciate what you do with keeping us informed. I love the bleacher report.
Thanks for the kind words about Joe. He really works hard and is enjoying his success on the Furman line. He has never been very motivated to read his on press clippings. I have a deal with him which we struck when he was in the 6th grade. You focus on your school work and your football work and I will take care of your publicist activities. That has been a good partnership over the years. I just try to keep the record straight so the truth gets out.
If you ever need help I am always available for information.
If you are going to be at the ASU vs Furman game maybe we can meet? I will be wearing a purple #52 jersey!
GO PALADINS!
John I would like to correct one matter of fact in your reporting on the Furman offensive lineman Joe Turner. Here is the excerpt from your report.
"Eric Thoni, a former walk-on, is in his first season as a full-time starter at center, and he is joined in the starting lineup by another former walk-on, first-year starter in Joe Turner (LG). "
Joe Turner is not a walk on and never has been. Just a minor amount of research by you on the furman website would reveal a press release regarding the 2011 signing class for Furman

2011 FURMAN FOOTBALL RECRUITING CLASS
Charlie Anderson, OL, 6-1, 250, Fr., Montgomery, Ala. (Montgomery Academy)
Rodney Anderson, DB, 5-10, 180, Fr., Nashville, Tenn. (Ensworth H.S.)
Travis Eman, QB, 6-1, 215, Fr., Brampton, Ontario (Canisius, N.Y., H.S.)
Justin Floyd, OL, 6-4, 280, Fr., Cartersville, Ga. (Cartersville H.S.)
John Mackey, DL, 6-1, 240, Fr., Chattanooga, Tenn. (Baylor H.S.)
Ira McCune, DL, 6-3, 250, Fr., Marietta, Ga. (Hillgrove H.S.)
Joey Negley, TE, 6-3, 230, Fr., Cumming, Ga. (Forsyth Central H.S.)
Andrew Parker, QB, 6-4, 185, Fr., Brentwood, Tenn. (Ensworth H.S.)
Tanner Skogen, RB, 5-11, 190, Fr., Woodstock, Ga. (Woodstock H.S.)
Jordan Snellings, WR, 6-1, 180, Fr., Atlanta, Ga. (Marist H.S.)
Joe Turner, OL, 6-3, 260, Fr., Roswell, Ga. (Roswell, H.S.)
In addition to Furman's full scholarship Joe had offers from every SOCON school except ASU, in additon he had offers from UAB, Air Force, Navy, GT, and Youngstown state. To cast him as a walk is just factually wrong. All you have to do to get the facts on Joe Turner is Google Joe Turner + Furman + Roswell
Aw thanks!! :D
Hey new fan, thanks for being my fan :D Naturally I've returned the favor <3 I see you went to Appalachian State...I used to go skiing in Boone!
Appreciate it man. It's great to be a Mountaineer!
