Melissa’s love of sports began at a young age while watching her father play in softball and bowling tournaments. Her interest was nurtured by her parents from the time she could hold a ball in her hand and she quickly began playing in multiple sports. A career combining her love of sports and writing has always been in the cards for Melissa. She is currently majoring in communications with an emphasis on print media and a minor in sports and exercise science.
