Kip's Bio
I'm a 25 year old aspiring sports writer based out of Seattle, Washington. My love for sports goes deep but only for the major ones as in baseball, basketball, and football, college and pro for the latter two. I'm recently coming off my two year stint as the baseball coach for the Evergreen State College where the experience was nothing like I expected and much more demanding than I ever thought possible. I'm very much a stats geek as I let the numbers do the talking and will use much of that to support my editorials. If each of my articles affects just one person, positively or negatively, then I've done my job.

Hey Kip,
I had an awful day today, so I took it out on MLB. Here's my first humor piece on "the worst case scenarios for all 30 teams." If you get the chance, I'd love for you to check it out and let me know what you think.

As always, thanks for the support, and I hope you enjoy the read/makes your day better!

I have a number of sites left that still needs a few teams for my fantasy baseball leagues. If you have the time and want some great competition drop me your e-mail on my board or contact me at rsmcloser@cox.net. Thanks

Inconsistent is right. I could see them losing in the first round, and I could see them making it to the Sweet 16—but it's hard to imagine them going much further.

Thanks for the pick Kip! What do you think about UW's chances in the tournament?

Hey Kip,
I did a piece on the future of the Seahawks. I thought you'd like it.

What's going on Kip? Frank told me you joined this site. Good stuff so far man, nice to have another Seattle fan onboard. I still can't believe you coached the Evergreen baseball team. I still can't believe Evergreen HAD a baseball team. Take it easy.
