Liverpool FC : Come In Number 19, Your Time Is (Hopefully) Up!
October 14, 2008
I am an aspiring Writer, and write many things in my spare time. Poetry, Songs, Short Stories, Currently co writing a film with some friends and have a Sit Com on the go too. I have been writing Football articles lately and would love to go into Sports journalism, maybe even Musical journalism too, and I will put up whatever I write on here for others to read and leave their input on.
I support Liverpool Fc and have no love at all for the England National Team. Club v Country does not exist for me, it is simply Club. However I am a great admirer of all things football and will watch it whenever I can, Blue Square premier league even, with Paul Parker giving his fantastic insight into the beautiful game (Sarcasm).
I love films, tv show such as The Sopranos, The Wire, Curb your Enthusiasm, Family Guy, The Office, Alan Partridge, Fast Show, Bottom and many many more, but I do regard The Sopranos as the most perfect Tv show there has ever been, in my 25 years, thus far. Waynes World 1 and 2 are my joint favourite films, back when Mike Myers was funny.
I have a Whirlwind Musical taste, as every genre I can listen to from Acid Jazz to Operatics. Some of my favourite bands and artists include Joy Division, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Oasis, Muse, The Strokes, The Stranglers, The Smiths, New Order, Roxy Music and Madness. There are so many more though.
So this is just an insight into me, what makes me write and what makes me, Liam McClintock, the person that I am. I hope you all enjoy reading my articles, and as the great Karl Pilkington says 'Anything is good as long as it makes you think'. words I live and Die by.
Cheers, see you around.

Thanks for the read and comment Liam.
You're right about Carra, he'd be a much better manager. But in football you can never tell can you?
Maybe Rafa is right...maybe he's not.
We'll find out in time, I guess
cheers !
Hey,
Rafa's tipped Stevie to be Liverpool's next manager. DO you agree?

Unfortunately not, but I am thinking of starting a Liverpool roundtable soon, which is fairly similar. Would you be interested in participating in that? Thanks for the fan add as well, much appreciated!
People conveniently forget the 11 50-yard Hollywood passes he attempts that miss, go out of play or get intercepted, and only gush on the 12th that actually did find it's mark. The team gets strangled when Stevie Me's on the field, feeling pressured to get the ball to him, rather than play the easier lower risk pass to a team mate and work the ball across and up the park. He stops us playing like Rafa's Valencia (that humiliated us twice) and turns us into a long ball team.
