About

I am a native of Raleigh, N.C., and a 2013 valedictorian at N.C. State University. I have 2.5 years of experience in print journalism, specializing in features and copy editing. My love for people translated to a passion for human interest stories, including First Place in Feature Writing with the North Carolina College Media Association in both 2011 and 2012.

I'm currently a Sports & Family reporter at WORLD Magazine, where I also cover poverty. I've also had the pleasure to work for Indy Week, the News & Observer, and the N.C. State College of Engineering.

When I am not writing, I can be found playing my piano of 14 years, taking a walk outside, or spending time with good friends. Being in the bleachers at a game is like nothing else on earth. No matter what I do, I do my best.

My internship with B/R ended Dec. 27. If you liked my work at B/R...ask for it to continue...?

    Hey Andrew-

Thanks so much for the kind words! As for preseason stats, the process I've used is to go here: http://www.nba.com/bulls/stats/2013

Then, you can change the nickname of the team in the URL and find them for any of the 30 squads.
