I'm Dienz Jaffret, I love and support Real Madrid Club de Fútbol. I'm a fan of fast, technical, counter-attacking football but most of all, i'm a fan of football. I hate that people still compare Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as both these players are on a class and level of their own and should and cannot be compared. I rest My case. I like pancakes, Daft Punk and I think Kevin Hart is the funniest guy on this planet we call Earth. Any music that can bring back a memory, especially a good memory or makes you feel a certain way decides to be called "Good Music".
Hey!! I watched the Mexico - Nigeria game yesterday. It was fascinating! A rare interesting 0-0 draw. Also, why does Uche, the Villareal guy, not play for the NT?
oooooh sorry :(
Very good. Hows college if you went there yet?
Fabio has never really taken the position from Marcelo. He's such an indifferent player. And Arbeloa is just so goddamn terrible, not that it's his fault. Some people are simply born without talent. He deserves some credit for making it so far. Now, what bothers is that somehow he keeps a starting job. As a fan of Spain, it really worries me because Spain obviously has the talent to repeat. It would be extremely hard to accomplish, but it wouldn't be because they lack talent. Spain is probably the most loaded NT in the WC. But sometimes in a tough game, a clumsy player is the difference between winning or losing. The same as having a bad GK, you can't hide it in a tough match. That's why Argentina is screwed, no matter how many goals they score. Anyway, I'm in the mood for talking football.
You still here?
No I was watching the Real - Schalke game, right now I'm fuming. Its half time vs Atletico. Hopefully when you see this comment after the game, you will be laughing about how we won.
Yeah you've hit the nail on the head, basically summed up the whole problem. Our defense isn't bad, just lazy and unfocused. When on top form they can shut out teams easily. You're right about Dortmund though, in fact I think they would have beaten us just as badly as Bayern did. Their counterattacks are incredible and would kill our shabby defense of last season.
One really interesting thing is Madrid's midfield has been outstanding, and now it will be really fun to see if they can go head to head with Barça. I agree with you there, whoever wins the midfield battle will control the match and come out on top.
Same issue with Barça. Statistically our defense is really good, and even looking at them you can see the improvement, but they have those moments where everyone just loses focus and sh*t goes down. I'm afraid our teams can get by right now, but what happens if we run into a top attacking team? Ibra or Lewandowski would kill us with one chance if that was all it took.
