Yes, I am a huge fan of Ronaldo, but last year I felt that Ribery deserved it more. Ronaldo definitely deserved it, and I'm happy that he got it, I just felt that Ribery deserved it more. But I'm severely disappointed with Ribery's reactions to the Ballon d'Or being given to Ronaldo.
Lol yes, why do you ask?
Look at yourself. Calling me the idiot, yet the very first point you made is beyond retarded. Because with that logic, no one should give a f-ck about Ronaldo being the highest goalscorer in UCL then? Cristiano scored most of his goals in THE FIRST HALF OF THE 12/13 SEASON. There are 2 halves to the Season.. You can't consider one, and completely neglect the other. PERIOD. For Messi to have earned the trophy, he's had to not only score regularly the first half, but be consistent enough to maximize his tally ahead of Ronaldo through the course of the latter stages of La Liga. "Subsequently, I'm not fully sure encompassing Messi's Pichichi win counts" You're one dumb-ss yourself aren't you. Funny, because he lifted, and presented the trophy TODAY vs Granada, in front of the Camp Nou faithful after having collected it a few days ago. Fact of the matter is, he EARNED IT THIS YEAR, due to his heroics LAST HALF OF THE SEASON, during the latter AND the FORMER stages of the 12/13 campaign. SAME applies for the Frenchman. Why du even think Seasons are scripted as being ONE YEAR, TO ANOTHER? 2012 - 2013? F-ck your efforts of downplay the both of them mate. You just makes you look all the more foolish.
Daftly? I've spoken with stats mate. I've back up my word with factual information, whereas you've know gone on with your HYPOTHETICAL bullshit. "Portugal past their group to begin with without noting that Messi and his Argentina side had it all on a plate when Brazil weren't there to mount up the competition" They came 2nd in their group, and had to face SWEDEN. Ronaldo finished of 4th. Messi, 2nd. 10 goals, to 8. In more games though. There goes your ignorant self trying to belittle Messi and Argentina once more. "Plus, presumably taking out Ronaldo/Messi from Portugal/Argentina, do you GENUINELY reckon Portugal are the better side? They don't really have the depth needed in a quality squad plus they're nearly bereft of any world class player, apart from Ron, Moutinho and Coentrao/Pepe." Bruno Alves? Meireles? Rui P? J.Perreira? Nani? Cannot even take that as a serious argument! Again, it's all HYPOTHETICAL. YOU, cannot prove FOR SURE any of that. Sure it may be straightforward, and may make sense in your mind and all, but it isn't that straightforward as there are too many influential factors in Football! How long have you even been watching the damn game? You can't just assume, plug things and out of equations!! That ISNT even an argument. It is just your BELIEF. Who the f-ck are you to know what Portugal would be like without CR? What Argentina would be like without Messi? Bento? Sabella? God? Provide FACTUAL evidence, just like I did, or else your argument is INVALID.
P.S: Ballon D'or isn't judged based on only '2 Months, and goals' you memory deficient piece of sh**. And besides, I WASNT ARGUING AGAINST RONALDO YOU PR**K. I was arguing a case FOR Messi, and a little Ribery, because it seems as though you people are just so fucking quick to write both of them off!
Hey Nour. It's a bit of tricky one this year. For me, Messi is the greatest player of his generation so would be the winner by default if we're just talking about talent.
If we're basing it on achievements over the year though it'd have to be Franck Ribery followed by Philipp Lahm and then Andrea Pirlo maybe.
Who are your top three?
