I have been around the game of football since I was 6. I used to sit at my fathers feet and watch the Big Match with Brian Moore and stay up late and watch Sportsnight for the European action. In 1979 while watching the FA Cup final I fell in love with Arsenal football club. Living in Hertford there were 2 main train lines to London. 1 went into London at Liverpool Street and the other went to Moorgate. This train line passed Finsbury Park station and was literally a train tickets throw from Highbury stadium. I attended as many games as I could as a youngster but being an up and coming footballer myself the only guaranteed game for me each year was at Christmas. I've loved the Gunners ever since, Thierry Henry is up there as my favourite player, along with Tony Adams and believe it or not, the short lived career of Christopher Wreh.
