Dave's Bio
Dave is a lifelong sports fan, burrito connoisseur, and founder of Bleacher Report. Growing up in Northern California, Dave became an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants, the San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors, and San Jose Sharks. He played high school football for the division champion Menlo Knights but retired after two concussions as a 160 lb defensive end.
Dave matriculated at the University of Southern California around the same time Pete Carroll started coaching, and soon thereafter the Trojans won multiple National Championships. However, Carroll and the Trojans haven't won any championships since Dave graduated. Coincidence?
Dave's many brushes with greatness include taking an improv acting class with Mike Williams, Frostee Rucker, and Steve Smith, multiple run-ins with Ted Danson, partying with "Superfreak" Rick James, and an ongoing feud with former Baltimore Orioles outfielder Brady Anderson. He plans to reveal the details of said sordid affair in his upcoming tell-all book "Water-Drinker: The Brady Anderson Story".
Dave started Bleacher Report because he believes that fans are the most qualified group to analyze their teams because of their unmatched passion and immense knowledge. He is thrilled beyond words at how much the site has grown, and loves reading analysis on his favorite teams by all the Bleacher Report writers that cover them.

Dave,
I'll throw one more press credentials note on your bulletin board. But, I'll leave the manual labor involved in getting it set up to myself. I just wanted to make sure that I have a go-ahead from you to give your email address to anyone who requests a discussion with Bleacher Report's owner during my attempts to gain access to press box's.
I'm not so sure they'll care that I'm the owner of TheScoreBoards... but Bleacher Report is getting big. Between the two, I might have a shot.
Thanks,
-Chris

Hey Dave,
I spoke with Dave Finocchio about a possible press credential for a Cardinals game, and he referred me to you. I just think as a Senior Writer and Cardinals Community Leader, it would be appropriate for me to cover a game from the press area.
Thanks much,
Ben

Hi Dave,
Do you have an email add I can send some information to, please? I'm trying to set some stuff up with Toronto FC re. the Bleacher Report and I need to run it by you?
Cheers!
Danny. :)

Hi Dave,
You're welcome - this is an excellent idea you have here! :)

I am going to shoot you an email later, but any hope in getting press privilages for Canadian sports interests? I've got a lot of analysis which would benefit all the more from access.
Also, any thoughts on my trivia series? Too long/tough/easy? Good idea for other areas of B/R? Anyway, I'm sure you are busy, so I'll leave this here. Take care.

Hey Dave, Bonds cheated to get 72 HRs and he cheated to get 714 HRs. That's enough for me right there. If we are going to go and bring up guys who played well 10 years ago without cheating, someone call up Joe Carter and sign him.
There is one reason and one reason alone that Johnson is more valuable than Bonds in 2008 - Johnson is good without ever cheating.

Hey Dave,
First off, Fight On. Lopez is still around.. I haven't had a class with him though. So far I've just taken MUIN 270 with McIllvery - and he's just bad ass.

Sounds like a great time! I will miss being in driving distance of Lake Tahoe. That's for sure.
I had fun. I went to Lake George with some friends, and my buddy won the Guitar Hero competition ... $1000 gift certificate to Hippos. He was psyched!
Good to hear from you. Congrats on how much success you guys are having with this site.

Dave, I'm sure I'll get slammed for this, but I've put this out there anyway. Feel free to weigh in:

Something you haven't thought of before? I think I remember one of you four mentioning it...
Oh, well. I'm looking forward to the stats thing. Keep up the great work, guys! You know I appreciate it!
