About Scott »

I wrote for a couple of years for the UCLA Daily Bruin covering the 1986 Rose Bowl championship team, a Reggie Miller led basketball season, a Todd Zeile led baseball season and their women's basketball team led by none other than the world's greatest female athelete Jackie Joyner.

I did not pursue journalism after graduating from UCLA in 1987 but recently decided to begin writing again on Bleacher Report. I will be concentrating for now on the San Francisco 49ers, a team I am passionate about. I am attempting to win the contest to be named a correspondent covering the team for the 2009 season.

This article was originally published in support of Relay for Life. If you have read this before, then I apologize, but please considering donating at least $1 to Make a Wish in the memory of Josiah Herring. In light of several recent events I felt compelled to revisit cancer awareness and have not had the time for a new article. I Promise to have a new article out soon in support of the cause.

Thank you everyone!

Hey there!
Today, I go back in time ten years ago in which the All Star Game was celebrated at Fenway Park in Boston. Arguably the most emotional All Star Game of all time as we celebrated a legend in Ted Williams who would not be with us much longer. But throughout the game, Williams' farewell had truly inspired the AL to win this game. Take a look back as I run down this historic game
