I was adopted into a civil service family of proud men who served in WWII and the women who loved them. I did the civil service thing myself for a while, but turned my sights on the legal field and writing. My husband and I met by chance the year I turned 45 and we married that September...short enagements are a good idea at 44-45 years old. We'll be married six years in September and he is truly the best thing that ever happened to me. He is my rock, my port in a storm, my one and only. It was the first time for both of us marriage-wise - and the ONLY time for us, as WE will be together until death do us part and into infinity...that is the story of unconditional love. It took half a lifetime to find it; we will spend the second half of our lifetime enjoying it...together.
