Soccer/ Champions League, UEFA, World Cup,
I'm a well travelled guy who grew up playing soccer in europe then transferring my skills to very talented VA-Tech Rugby Team. I remember summer 7s, and seeing some of the football team players come out for some action and one on one tackling experience.
Born in Auburn AL, it has always been a birth right to be an Auburn Tiger, I forever will be. My family has many generations of Auburn Alums, and I too will be one as well when I complete my Executive MBA there. I must say, that my choice in schools has alot to do with Football.
I watch a tremendous amount college football, this includes a desire and bucket list goal to goto all 119 Div 1 College Stadiums around the nation. I don't care who is playing who, but find the traditions and the American love of football to be divine spirit like nothing else in sports.
I live in Colorado, where sports and social interaction with people is a required element of a life worth living. I have always liked the Broncos, but in recent years, have focused on more Rockies and baseball. Having grown up around the world and traveled to some very remote places, I feel as though my insight to how a specific culture or even sub culture might react to an event is very unique and hopefully entertaining. So its important to me to try and stay as unbiased a fan as possible.
Here are some sports I follow that are off the beaten path; Skiing, Cycling, Hunting/Shooting and Field Training. Strange sports I know but each have their traditions and history and all are fun (maybe not to watch on TV)!
At the end of the day History, Sportsmanship, Ethics, Dreams, Upsets, Amazing Plays, and the Unexpected will forever drive my interest in sports.
