David's Bio
Basically there are only 3 pro teams I follow with any regularity, but I am about as passionate a fan for those teams as you'll find anywhere. Those teams are the New York Yankees, the New England Patriots, and the Edmonton Oilers. I am fiercely defensive of these teams and shamelessly opinionated about the leagues they play in and especially their primary rival teams (think Red Sox, Colts, Flames aka the bane of my existence). For a more detailed explanation of my loyalties check out my website - http://www.davidmcdermott.ca/David_McDermott/Sports.html
Take a read - I think I've made my point of view quite clear.

Thanks for the comment on my article. One question which I am sure you are asked a lot. How are you a Yankees fan and a Patriots fan at the same time??? Thats a head scratcher to me, lol.

Hey David,
I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.
Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend David!

Thanks for the feedback Mark, my opinion on this potential deal seems to be changing by the hour...as good as Santana is it seems to me like this is just turning into another Yankees/Red Sox competition and that both Theo Epstein and Brian Cashman are losing their heads. Neither wants to lose the deal so they are both offering up juicy combinations of prospects and young MLB stars. You can bet that The Twins management is taking full advantage of the Yanks/Sox rivalry to milk everything they possibly can out of this non free-agent.

hey dave,
thanks for reading/commenting on my article.
i have to disagree with ya, on santana just coming into his prime. He's had monster years before his "decline" last year. He's 29.
Also, I heard that the Yanks will include Hughes in the deal for Santana, just to up-the-stakes against the sox.
Anyways, i could go on and on here.
Just saying thanks for the read.
From a Sox fan-to a Yanks fan.
Cheers.
