Kenny's Bio

I am 25 years old and born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Basically, Seattle.

I love the Mariners and Seahawks and Washington State Cougars. I used to love the Sonics, but that was ripped away from us and I don't know how to feel about the NBA right now or the Oklahoma City Blunder.

I have worked at the Seattle Times Sports and that was a great gig, because all I want to do all day is talk about sports. It definitely consumes me and my thoughts 24/7, constantly thinking about how I'm going to improve in my Fantasy Baseball Keeper League.

I need some pre-season football so I can stop thinking about baseball so much, especially when you consider that my fantasy team has a better shot at the world series than the Mariners do.

Thanks for reading, I really do appreciate it because I love these games so much.

  1. Hey Kenny,

Thanks for adding me to your list of writers to follow. Appreciate it!

Love your most memorable games attended. Unfortunately, there are a lot of those I could list, too. One WSU game that comes to mind was down here in LA at the Coliseum. Sitting in the middle of Trojan alumni (I was coaching junior high football at the time with a former SC d-back who gave me the tix) watching my Cougs get the butts handed to them when there was a quarterback change late in the third quarter. This young kid strolled out on the field, called the play in the huddle and sauntered to the line of scrimmage. The dude looked like an NFL veteran by the way he was eyeing the defense. Barks the call, takes the snap, three step drop and zips one over the middle for a nice completion. He went on the make the game respectable be driving the offense to three touchdowns against the Trojans second unit. The dude? Some guy with a rocket launcher for an arm named Drew Bledsoe. Turns out he could shred anyone's first team defense, too!

    Write on!
