I've always had a passion for football, especially the NFL. Once I graduated from Georgia State University in downtown Atlanta, I pursued my dream of becoming a sports journalist. It has been an amazing and rewarding journey that I will continue here on Bleacher Report, where I plan to primarily focus on covering the AFC East.

My background: I possess eight-plus years of sports journalism experience in traditional print media and Web publishing and one-plus years of award-winning broadcast journalism experience. I have covered numerous players in high school who currently play in the NFL, including Calvin Johnson, Cam Newton, Eric Berry, Leon Washington, Tashard Choice, Brandon Meriweather, Marcus McNeill, Chansi Stuckey, Kedric Golston and Leonard Pope.

I co-hosted “The Citizen Sports Blitz,” a twice-weekly Georgia high school sports talk video show, and “Sidelines,” a weekly podcast on which professional and college sports were debated, discussed and analyzed. Moreover, I provided color commentary for the “Game of the Week,” a weekly television broadcast of a Georgia high school sporting event that regularly appeared on Comcast TV. My work as a sports journalist and broadcaster helped Georgia-based The Citizen Newspapers take first place in the 2008 Suburban Newspapers of America’s “Best Multimedia Initiative” category. “The Citizen Sports Blitz” and the “Game of the Week” were praised for making “a local hot spot for sports information.”
