Into football (spectator) and bowling (player) far more than other sports, anymore.

Packers are, without a doubt, more special to me than any of my other favorite teams in any sport.
They just are a special, unique franchase in the whole, wide world of sports, in too many ways to list here.

I was born in Racine, Wisconsin, in 1956 and moved to Anchorage, Alaska five years later.
I've lived in Anchorage ever since (hence, along with my parents Nebraska roots, my loyalty to some non-Wisconsin teams and to the Big 12 Conference), have been out once, when I served four years in the Air Force, and quickly came to understand that once you have lived here, if you leave, you will almost CERTAINLY want to come back!

Finally, I post as NorthStarr (or a small variation thereof) on most sites these days.

Bart Starr (the greatest Packer of them all, so far) and any current member of the Green Bay Packers (okay; except Bush. LOL.)
