Thanks for the defense. I appreciate it man. I know Steven from some other things and I think he overreacted. Overall, I'm not making a big deal about it. I agree with you that sometimes the communities here can get nitpicky with stuff, but hey, I guess we can get like that as fans.
Anyways, totally agree about your feelings about basketball. Furthermore, I hope the Knicks can turn things around. Basketball always seems to be better in general when the Knicks are doing well.

HI again Hadarii- don't let this guy discourage you. I have read some of his comments and I agree with you; he is an ignorant racist, perhaps that description is an oxymoron. I also flagged his comment and left the following message: Officer or whatever your real name is you should refrain from posting further comments, especially when you don't read as you are showing your ignorance. In the words of Confucius “No matter how busy you may think you are, you must find time for reading, or surrender yourself to self-chosen ignorance.”
Hadarii, I read your article and enjoyed it. I believe I read afterwards that Rondo withdrew from the team. Can you confirm this?

Hi Ed- I agree with you about Dwight's article. The commentary was a great idea and well-written. Dr. J was an excellent player but never regarded as the best. Kareem was clearly the best during his era. Not only was he the best in the NBA but also in College (UCLA) and HS (Power Memorial). The NCAA instituted a no-dunk rule to contain him but he defeated the NCAA with his skyhook. An argument could be made that Kareem is the greatest NBA player of all-time. Leaving him off this list is indefensible. However, the article was very well-written and argued Dwight, please keep up the great work.

Hi Faizan-keep up the great work was what was cut off on my recent post. Many writers on bleacher report are too-extreme and state opinions without any factual support. Your articles are not like that. I enjoy your work-have a great week!

HI Buckus, we will have to agree to disagree on this point (the title of your article). If you are focusing on the post 9/11 time-period, as you stated, I believe that Kareem's legacy was already established. His legacy has faded due to the passage of time. I see no evidence of what you allege, that he has been affected by prejudice against Muslims. If you can provide verification, please do so. Otherwise, we can agree to disagree. Hadarii- your Lakers look are going to be tough to beat this year, see below what I posted for your latest article.
Hi Hadarii- another well-written article that is right on point. The Bulls of Phil Jackson won because of smothering defense as much as the triangle offense. I am pleased to see that the Lakers are now adding players who can now play the same kind of defense. I believe that physical defense will be the key element that propels the Lakers to another title. If Miami does make it to the finals, they will not be able to overcome the Lakers stifling D. If Miami does not make the finals their undoing will be the tough defense employed by Doc Rivers and the Celtics. Artest alone may not have been enough in 2010 - 2011. Matt Barnes was a great addition. In addition to his tough defense, he is a decent offensive player and very good rebounder. Keep up the great work Hadarii; I always enjoy reading your articles.

Very interesting comment from Kareem, I had not read that. I must accept that he feels that way. However, I think most Americans do make the distinction between the radical Muslims who were responsible for the 9/11 tragedy and most Muslim-Americans who do not advocate violence against America. It is hard to imagine that basketball fans think less of Kareem's accomplishments. Sadly though, you may be right, maybe the question needs to be asked. Best regards.

Hi Chris, please take a look at the response I placed on your behalf to Steven Resnick. I am not sure why he felt that he needed to correct your grammar, especially when his own grammar usage was poor. I believe we should respond to our passionate feelings about sports and basketball specifically, not grammar. Please don't let Resnick's negativity dissuade you from writing articles or posting comments; I enjoyed reading yours.
