A "Vest"rospective: Looking Back at Jim Tressel's First Decade at Ohio State
January 26, 2011
In 1995, I was given an opportunity to be a volunteer recruiting assistant for Ohio State University. I had the opportunity to scout high school talent throughout the state of Ohio for then-Ohio State recruiting coordinator Bill Conley, and Coach Conley was gracious enough to serve as a reference for me when an internship within the scouting department of the Washington Redskins became available in 1996.
I have since left the world of professional scouting behind, but I learned a great deal about college and professional scouting, and I am hoping to share my thoughts and opinions here as an Ohio State Featured Columnist for The Bleacher Report.
My work has been cited on ESPN.com (07/23/2008), and primarily comes from my blog entitled From The Mind Of Minnich. Go Bucks!

Spring Cleaning #2 is one of the best articles I've read. Doesn't surprise me, you and Poppy joined about the same time so I have been following your work for a long time. You produce impressive articles.
Chip, I just put this article together finally and would love to get your input if you have the time:

Hey Chip, seeing as how this is OSU-UM week, I felt it was fitting to post about what the rivalry is all about and how strong the hate still is despite Michigan's struggles.

Hey in honor of my 100th piece here on B/R, here's my continuation of my weekly series on five things we learned in college football http://bleacherreport.com/articles/275354-whos-number-1-really-five-things-we-learned-in-week-seven?just_published=1.
This includes a bonus segment at the end of the article. Enjoy.

While I usually don't promote articles, I saw fit to promote this one. I feel people are not paying attention to what this article is about. They probably should. No matter if you are a fan of Florida or LSU, this is something you need to remember going into tomorrow night.

The Michigan/Notre Dame game has the feel once again of a typical rivalry game. Both teams look good last week, but see what the Irish NEED to do in order to be successful for a second Saturday in a row. Don't be shy, even you Wolverines!

Hey, I don't know if you've gotten a chance but I have a slideshow that I think is worth a look. It's my ranking of the top rivalries in college football. Hope you enjoy.

It includes a very deep insight into OSU-UM, which I think will be a great thing for Buckeye fans to check out.
