After graduating from the University of Oregon with majors in Sports Business and Entrepreneurship, I wanted a chance to share my love for sports with the rest of the world. Born and raised in Oregon, I am self proclaimed one of the biggest Portland Trailblazer fans in the world.
However, my passion for sports doesn't stop there. Growing up in and around the world of sports has fueled my knowledge and bold opinions on the most recent league, team, and player news. I consider myself an avid and informed fan of Soccer (both MLS and international), NCAA and NFL football, NBA, Golf, as well as many more.
At just 24 years old I have had my fair share of experience on the biggest of stages. I played football at the University of Oregon as a wide receiver for two and a half years until injuries and career aspirations forced me to walk away. However, as a member of the ducks I was fortunate enough to participate in two bowl games and huge wins over USC, Michigan, ASU, and of course Oregon State. Now that I have thrown in the towel towards my professional sporting career I have turned my attention to the other side of the locker room.
Although not a journalism major, i pride myself on being passionate yet effective writer. In my short experience in the real world I have interned for both CBS Sports in Los Angeles as well as Eugene, OR and have been privileged enough to interview some of today's most prestigious athletes and coaches.
In the past 2 years in Los Angeles I have been fortunate enough to work as a producer on some major television shows. From the Food Network, to Bravo, to Fox, and everything in between, I have written scripts, story boards, edited, and even done voice overs for multiple shows throughout the entertainment industry.
Now, while I continue with career in television production, I always try and make time for my blog. If there is one thing I've learned as my career path has twisted and turned through the entertainment world it's that no matter what my job is, or where I'm located, I will never stop being a fan.
