Just recently graduated from Furman University (SoCon school, let's go Steph Curry) where I played Division I basketball for four years. I majored in Psychology, which was interesting, but just not a career path for me. I'm currently a member of B/R's Advanced Sports Media program, looking to improve as a writer and gain some experience in the sports media field.
Is your intern with BR finished?
Kaitlin, I really enjoyed your article about Tim Duncan's legacy, but I have to disagree with you. His legacy is complete. Another championship will just give him another ring as he is not the dominant player on the team anymore, Tony Parker is. Duncan will go down in history as one of the greatest power forwards and players to ever play the game. Where he ranks amongst those players is down to preference, my personal preference at the power forward position is Kevin Garnett because he almost single-handedly re-energised the Boston Celtics, a franchise that had been asleep for 20 years.
Malone, Duncan, Barkley, McHale and others all have legitimate claims to be the best power forward of all time though.
Keep up the good work.
I think ur a great writer :)
