Ian's Bio

I'll keep this short because I hate to write about myself.

I am a 17 year old guy from the Canadian province of Manitoba. I am particularly a hockey fan, with my favourite team being the Pittisburgh Penguins. I have a passing interest in the other sports, meaning that most of my time on Bleacher Report will be spent on the NHL section.

  1. You asked me a question about a month ago, but I haven't logged in for a while.
The answer to your question is yes.

  2. Hey man,

Your article was already pretty solid on most points, but I'll try to explain some of the comma changes. I'm not sure which ones you were wondering about, but, in general, you need a comma before an "and" when the two things in the sentence aren't related. That makes the two parts of a sentence independent clauses.

These links are quick reads that should help explain. Basically, if the sentence can stand on its own without a certain part of it (like the "in general" in my second sentence up there), then it should have commas separating it. Let me know if there is anything particular not covered here or anything it seems I messed up. Hope this helps,
