SEC media policy makes it hard on fans, freelance journalists (of which many B/R writers are both). Thoughts?

Decided to do another ranking of mine, since it was enjoyed last time. This time, I decided to rank all the divisions in football.

Thanks for getting back to me. That's totally fine to use their quotes or anyone else's, but you gotta credit the source. I recommend doing so in the attribution of the first quote you used (e.g. McCown told the Pewter Report). From there, it will be implied all subsequent quotes are from the same place; if you use a different source for another quote, simply credit it in that quote's attribution as well.
Some authors on here prefer to put a line at the bottom of the story in italics that says something like "All quotes courtesy of the Pewter Report." As long as the Pewter Report can see that it was credited when/if it finds your story, you won't have to worry about them taking issue.
OK, keep up the good work,
-Tim

Oliver,
I'm going to do a Mock Draft using all of the NFL Team Community Leaders as GM's.
If you would like to join, please e-mail me ASAP, so I can get the draft out soon.
I'll fill you in on the picks that have already been made so you know who's still on the board.
Feel free to converse with any of the other TB community leaders before you make your choice.
Depending on how quickly people respond, I'll decide if I'll go into round two.
Thanks,
John Arend
