I'm a hockey guy. I'm a baseball guy. I'm into football and basketball. But only when the team that's playing is from Detroit. I'm a displaced Detroiter now living in the Boston suburbs. I've had the pleasure of witnessing my Red Wings win four Stanley Cups in my life time. I've had the simply outrageous fortune of meeting and talking to Barry Sanders the very evening before the day he announced his sudden retirement from the game. I've seen my Pistons and Tigers win championships and I know the Lions probably never will.
But whatever - I enjoy writing and I enjoy the nuances of the game of hockey the most.
