    group article: Best of the Rest: Outside of the UFC which org is best.

    We are going to write another group article, and I am hosting it. The topic will be: "Which combat discipline is best suited for MMA?" In other words, what single style is most effective for making the transition to and being successful in MMA? If you'd like to contribute, please send your entry to semaans@hotmail.com.     Thanks for the kind words my friend. I try. I have a ton of respect for the fighters regardless of what level they're fighting at and I think they sense it. I am very grateful I do what I do and hope to continue it. What is your goal as an MMA writer, overall?

    I think that your comment in my article was spot-on. A lot of people are relatively new to MMA and did not know about Nog's dominance in PRIDE, and consequently why Fedor is regarded as being so good. Plus a lot of North American fans only followed the UFC, and hardly knew anything about PRIDE. That's why a lot of people think that Couture is the top heavyweight in the world, but they just don't know any better. Fedor and Nog have proven to be the top two fighters in the world time and again.
