Clashmore's Bio

I love college football, especially Notre Dame Football. Let's say I'm old enough to have seen every home game in Notre Dame Stadium since 1971 in person. There's no other program like the Irish. None.

  1. Charlie`s gone! But I hope you`re okay Mike! Go Irish!

  2. Enough about our schedule already, right?

  3. Thanks for the comment.

    Go Irish!

  4. I am a bit surprised I haven't seen a training camp report from you yet. I know you are based in South Bend and probably have been to a couple practices. I would like to see an inside look as to what is going on. I am sure you are working on something and I can't wait to see it.

    Go Irish!

  5. Just an FYI. I just learned that he has been suspended 30 days without pay. That is fair and should be good enough fo us. Just my opinion.

  6. I was wondering why ND doesn't have the "Notre Dame Network". 24/7 Notre Dame sports. I know that they are probably restricted by NBC and can't show games but isn't that the way to go in the future?

  7. Hey Mike, thanks a lot for that and I will certainly take you up on that if I can get out there! I am going to see my "roadie" buddy Jim this weekend (he and I went out to South Bend in 2003) and I am going to see if we can do this. Hopefully things will work out and I can get there.

If you ever decide to come out this way, perhaps next year, I will do the same for you. I have credentials to get into Trojan practices and if you promise not give away any game plans to Charlie and co., I will take you for a tour of all things 'SC! :)

  8. Glad we agree, thanks

  9. Who is the better A-Rod,
    Alex Rodriguez or Andy Roddick?

  10. Hello, I hope you don't mind but I used you as a reference in an article I just wrote.

  11. Hey Clashmore. I thought you may want a good laugh. Check out this idiot.

  12. Thank you for sharing that with me. I never knew that ND had a terrier as a mascot.

When I was about 10 years old, growing up in NJ, I remember that every Saturday(I just can't remember what time) the one hour Notre Dame Football Show was played on television.

I think it was in the morning and I believe it was a recap of the previous week's game. They ran just about every play by editing out all the time between plays.

Was there someone named Monte Stickle that was associated with the program in the early 60's?

I can't remember what year the show stopped airing in NJ. I do remember that Penn State had their football show on in NJ every Monday night for a couple of years in the 80's. The host was George Paterno, Joe Paterno's brother.

For about the last 5-6 years the Rutgers weekly football show gets played down here in south Florida on Friday nights, about midnight.

  13. So how is it that you share the name with that other "Clashmore Mike"?
