Hey John,
I just wrote an article on Tim Tebow that I think you will find interesting and entertaining. Let me know what you think when you have a chance. Thanks.

I'm not going to claim 'scoreboard' on you regarding Samantha's article. If I have any kind of talent, it's reading between the lines because I read so much BS every day as part of my job. The more skill and integrity a writer has, the easier it is to tell because they have predictable patterns.
She wouldn't come all the way out and say it, but her comment confirms that she doesn't want to make an actual prediction, and so she didn't. She has written so much stuff for BR, she can no doubt get away with it. She could do it if she had to, but she won't because her heart is not in it.
I've been to three football games where I, and the entire stadium was filled with dread that the other team's QB was unstoppable.
The third such game was the one you alluded to, when Clay Mathews, who, despite being the best all-around LB I've ever seen, was getting schooled that afternoon by Thurman Thomas. Until, out of the blue, he stepped in front of that pass from Kelly.
The first I saw was the very first Monday Night Football Game. With the same result. When Namath got his hands on the ball, we fans felt totally helpless. Then, all of a sudden, Billy Andrews managed to come up with that glorious pick and return.
But I would trade both of those results for the other time I felt helpless dread. The Drive.
Won't say any more.
Go Browns.
