Chris's Bio

I'm awesome and modest.

Chris Writes About

  • Chris's Activity

The Short List What Chris thinks about sport's most pressing questions

  • Favorite Athletes

Dan Marino, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Ronnie Brown, Chipper Jones, Jeff Francoeur, Brian McCann

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Braves, Auburn Tigers

  • All Time Sports Moment

The Braves winning the 1995 World Series over the Cleveland Indians; Watching the New York Giants ruin the New England Patriots' perfect season in Super Bowl XLII

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

The Miami Dolphins' comeback victory of the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football in 2004

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Has to be Cal Ripken's 2,632 consecutive games played streak

  • Ruth or Mays?

Saw neither live, but don't see the need to choose. Both great players.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Again, both great players. But If I had to choose, I'd go with option C: Marino.

  • Jordan or Russell?

Never saw Russell play live, but I can't imagine it gets any better than Jordan. Possibly the most fun athlete to watch, in any sport.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Not a hockey fan, so I have no idea.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Even less of a soccer fan, but let's go with Pele.

  • Federer or Sampras?

I've seen more of Federer than I have Sampras, but I really don't know.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Tiger is simply amazing.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

    Don't consider it a sport.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

Absolutely no idea who these people are or what sport they played.

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

Anyone that doesn't agree the best college football is played in the SEC is kidding themselves.

  1. Someone else is editing, so maybe I'll try it some other time.

  2. Interesting. Come to think of it, I can't think of any specific examples of people doing two videos. I'll try it and see what happens.

If it's happened to you more than once, it'd be cool if you could click on the "Contact Us" button and report it, noting if you use a PC or Mac and what browser you use. It'll be better coming from you than me since I report problems all the time.

    Thanks for the heads up,

    -Tim

  3. want to be my league fantasy

  4. good job on your article

  6. Sweet. I am looking forward to that one!

  7. Thanks for the advice.

  8. What you had a crystal ball over there? Haha

  9. Not one of my best choices there, but in my defense I had no idea he'd hit .204 after hitting a home run in his first AB.

  10. Well from now on I will not, but know this! Pat White? PUHLEASE!

    lol

    j/k

  11. Hey Chris,

Really good analysis of the Fins draft! I was wondering... can you tell me how you got the pictures to be on the right side and on the same line of the stats?

  12. just a note on ure phins draft preview, Domonique Johnson went to Jackson State.

  13. http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/columnists/barry-jackson/story/920040.html

THIS IS NOT A POST DUDE. I thought you'd like to know that you were right on your article about Chris Canty.

Look down to the paragraph with a title of "Chatter"

  14. Chris,

I was referring to our style guide (which differs from AP Style, which is why I pointed it out).

Here it is if you'd like to look: http://bleacherreport.com/pages/styleguide

It's my job here to make sure everyone's articles adhere to B/R style.

Like the style guide says "Everything you need to know about Bleacher Report's stylistic standards, because analness is next to godliness in the online publishing world..."

I don't mean to be anal, but I've got to point it out.

Besides, writers like you are my best friends--very few edits to make--so keep it up!

  15. Hey Chris,
We're looking for a Dolphins writer to feature on an NFL website. We'd like to talk to you about possibly coming on board for this. Please email fandango527@hotmail.com if you're interested in learning more. Thanks!
