Terry's Bio

I am an Irish-Catholic son of a coal miner and steel worker.

I am also the grandson of an emigrant from western Ireland (near Sligo)

I grew up in Western Pennsylvania about 35 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

My hometown of Uniontown, PA is in Fayette County near the Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

I lived in Pennsylvania until I was 26 (1983), when I moved to Baton Rouge to attend LSU Law School. I have been here ever since.

I am very proud of the area where I grew up.

Even though I have lived in Baton Rouge for over 24 years and call it home now, I miss both Pittsburgh and the Laurel Highlands area where I was born and raised.

I have been a lawyer for over 20 years (two comments...yikes and yuck).

I have been married to my wonderful wife (Christine) for over twenty one years.
