Tim Glase has been involved in the sports industry for over a decade. Glase is currently the General Manager of the Reading Express indoor professional football team in Reading, Pa..
Glase also currently consults for the upstart Magic Sports Complex & Resort. All the details are still hush-hush, but Magic Sports is poised to be one of the premier sports organizations in the country.
Over the course of his career, Glase’s favorite stint to date was with the editorial staff of Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Daily, the leading daily publication on the business of sports. He also held positions with various NASCAR teams and played an integral part in helping NASCAR launch its “Drive for Diversity” minority participant development program in 2004. In recent years, he ventured from autos to bicycles, doing marketing and public relations work for Valley Preferred Cycling Center, arguably the premier velodrome in the country. He’s also an advocate for Positive Coaching Alliance.
In addition to following his occassional rants on Bleacher Report, you can trek along with Glase on his own blog: www.progressavenue.org.
