Haha, I'm further from London than you are, in case you thought I was some sort of North London insider or something. Let's see...I really don't think Modric is going anywhere this particular transfer season, but it still depends on a lot of factors. He's obviously doing everything in his power to force a move. Personally, I'm getting fed up. I don't think Bale and VDV leaving would be remotely dependent on Modric's status, though. They've both been fairly quiet through much of the summer, and the biggest story on VDV's side was him giving an absolutely glowing appraisal of the club and admitting that he's fallen in love with Tottenham. As for our shot at contending...I don't know. My personal outlook right now is kinda grim, but at the same time we both know they're capable of some remarkable stretches of brilliance when they're on form. If they can maintain a level of play that consistent with what we saw in the first half of last season, then they can't be discounted by any means. It'll be tough with the extra club fighting for a top four spot now that Liverpool is looking strong again, but a reliable striker will make a world of difference if they can get it sorted out. In any case, the next campaign should be as exciting as ever. You guys take care of Le Toux over there in Philly, yeah?
