  1. Hey John,

How would you feel about a couple cooperative articles with a "Battle for New York" theme leading up the Jets-Giants annual preseason showdown? We can both preview our respective teams as anticipation mounts, and then offer post-game analysis next week.

    It could be fun.

    Thoughts?

    -Angel

  2. Hello, I've just been named the Mets community leader, so I want to get a Mets Roundtable article together and was wondering if you'd like to participate. Send me an email to pmurray3@utk.edu and I'll email you some questions about the current state of the Mets. Also if you can think of a better name for the article than Mets Roundtable, let me know.
    Thanks, Pat

  3. Thanks for the kudos John. Love the Giants blog by the way.

  4. What's up John,

Thanks for the info on Fireman Ed. I really didn't mean to offend as he is a friend of yours, and I don't know him outside of press clippings, TV commercials, and his chant starting.

I know that last season he was required to stay home. My father works for Sanitation, so I know how the city treats their employees when they're recovering.

I'm not doubting his love for the Jets. Perhaps calling him fair weather was unfair. However, I've met some other Jets' fans in my travels that don't hold him in such high esteem. People have paid attention to his absences in losing seasons, and early departures from bad game.

One story in particular of him leaving the Jets-Raiders game after being hit by a water bottle really struck a nerve with some of us.

  5. Hey John,
If you get the chance I'd be happy if you could read my recent article. It's just a bit of humor about the whole Favre situation. Thanks a lot!

  7. its hard to believe that the Mets can win the division when they are starting guys like easley, tatis, endy, etc...

im a die hard Mets fan, but i don't know if Delgado and the bench players turned starters will produce enough to back up wright, reyes, beltran.

ha just please tell me they have a shot

enjoy your work keep it up

  8. Hey John,

This is the first time I have solicited reads, but I am pretty proud of my latest work. I have ranked every American League baseball team's logo, and separated them by division.

If you find the time, I would be thrilled if you would stop by and offer your opinions!

    Thanks!

    -AK

  13. Keep me up to date on your NFC East blog. I'm going to be moving to L.A. in a month so I won't be doing too much writing until I have a staright job but once I do I'd be glad to be your Cowboys man.
