About

I am a Univeristy of Texas alum. Go HORNS! I am originally from East Texas but living in Atlanta, GA. I generally gravitate towards Houston teams and here are my sports priorities: 1. College Football - Texas, LSU, Michigan, Washington, Colorado, Penn State 2. NBA -Suns (/whereever Nash is), Rockets, Kevin Durant and the city that shall not be named 3. College Basketball - Texas, UNC 4. International Men's Soccer - USA, Italy 5. NFL - Titans, Texans (kinda), whichever team has more former Longhorns on it (sadly there are a lot on the Lions). 6. MLB - Astros, Red Sox, Cubs, Dodgers 7. Texas H.S. football - Lufkin, whoever can beat South Lake Carroll 8. MLS -Houston, Dallas 9. College Baseball - Texas etc.... teams I hate: Oklahoma Sooners (all sports, and just in general), U Miami football, Spurs, Jazz, Yankees, Braves, Steelers, Ravens, France (soccer and again in general), Duke basketball.

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Roy Williams (WR Texas), Vince Young, Ricky Williams, Colt McCoy, Kevin Durant, TJ Ford, Michael Jordan, Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash, T-Mac, Youkilis, Big Papi, LeBron, Dwight Howard, DJ Augustin, Hakeem Olajuwon, Warren Moon, Jeff Bagwell, John Lester, Clint Dempsey, Ronaldinho etc.

  • Favorite Sports Teams

TEXAS LONGHORNS, Red Sox, Astros, Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Tennessee Titans, Michigan Wolverines, UNC Tar Heels, Florida Gators, LSU Tigers, Penn State Nittany Lions, Houston Dynamo, FC Dallas, etc.

  • All Time Sports Moment

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

A lot of good but not great in the grand scheme of things Texas football games...vs LSU in the Cotton Bowl when Roy Williams took over was special. I remember a TTech game that we won in the last few minutes on a bomb to Roy was amazing. Winning in Fayetteville in the last minute was special. The one time I went to Fenway was magical, but it was an interleague game. I dunno.

One of my favorite games was year before last when the Alabama Crimson Tide of the SEC whipped the Long horns for the national title.

As an LSU fan though I wish Texas would play us more since we are neighboring states as I think that could be a great series. The all time series is close at 9 texas and 7 LSU and a tie or two.

Since I am trying to become a FC, please leave any feedback that you can, what I should do differently next time, things I can do to improve the article, etc. Thanks in advance.
