All-Time Sports Moment
2006 NLCS when Cardinals beat the Mets!
-
Most Memorable Game Attended
1994 World Cup Game in Dallas, TX: Argentina vs Bulgaria. Maradona had just tested positive for a banned substance a few days before and my team (Argentina) got beat so bad. But it was still an aamzing experience at the World Cup!
-
Most Unbreakable Sports Record
Joe Dimaggio, 56 game hit streak and Cal Ripken's consecutive games played.
-
Ruth or Mays?
Ruth. How can you not love a man who could eat whatever he wanted, booze it, and still be the best to ever play!
-
Unitas or Montana?
Gotta go old school here: Montana was amazing, but if Unitas had Jerry Rice, he'd have won more Super Bowls... and why isn't Otto Graham in this argument?
-
Jordan or Russell?
Russell. Russell could've been a great scorer, but he didn't HAVE to be. Russell won 11 Championships, and 10 in a row! And he played Wilt in his prime and beat him!
-
Gretzky or Orr?
Gretzky. No contest.
-
Pele or Maradona?
I should say Maradona since I'm Argentine, but my brain tells me it's Pele. If championships are the measure of an athlete (and they are), then Pele is the best. I think in their primes, Pele's Brazil squads would've run circles around Maradona's Argentina squads.
-
Federer or Sampras?
I think in their primes, that Federer beats Sampras 6 out of 10 times. But you've got to give Sampras the prize for landing Bridgette Wilson!
-
Tiger or Nicklaus?
I'd have said Tiger before he got caught cheating. Now I don't think he will catch the Golden Bear. But in their primes, I think Tiger beats Nicklaus 7 out of 10 times.
-
Petty or Earnhardt?
Petty. His cars weren't as good as Earnhardt's but I'm sure he could still kick his butt.
-
ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?
Big 12. No one seems to realize how good this conference really is because they beat themselves up week in and week out .
