Billy's Bio
Hey everyone, Billy here!
I joined Bleacher Report to write about Formula One and gain experience in Sports Journalism.
I like most sports, although Formula One is at the top of the list. I watch pretty much any sport when its on TV, football, tennis, darts, snooker, athletics... they all entertain me.
I really enjoy MotoGP as well and once the season is back up and running, I'm going to try to get the section on this site sorted out.
I am still only at school but I am very keen on going into sports journalism so I thought that Bleacher Report might be good experience. I'm enjoying it so far, the amount of variety on here is great!
Feel free to leave comments and tips on my articles and profile, they are much appreciated.

I just wrote an article that addresses the Bleacher Report Writer Ranking System, which has been a sore spot to some and an area of controversy to many of you on this site.
I think that it's an important issue that needs to be addressed within this community. Please give the article a read when you have the chance. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

second row of the grid- even if its not on paper Hunagry proves he can, passing both mclarens and making Hamilton pucture his tyre is enough.
BMW- yes the third quickest car, BUT still not quick enough to beat the ferrari and Mclaren, Massa Bahrain. Hamilton pulling away at start of Canada.
Pressure- 100,000 fans at Spain 2007. Massa was critized for not being a fighter with Alonso at Malaysia, but held his line into turn 1, and won the race easily with fastest lap. Taking on the champion in his 'own back yard' is what you said well he took on Alonso.
Vettell- yes a great win, but caution must be brought to it. The Toro Rosso was some how very very quick in the wet, and everyone was shocked by that. Bourdais qualified 4th to back up there pace, i think his car was very fast.
Still vetell did'nt win the championship so the car does matter, and as you anoyingly say this is'nt about other drivers.
Fisichella- i seroiusly doubt Fisichella could do anything better in a Ferrari than he did in a Renault. He score 2 victories 2poles 8podiums (3 hs first year), while Massa scored 2victories 7 podiums all in the first year of a quick car, when he had to back up Michael Schumacher. He easily could have won at US Gp and germany where he was just as quick as quick as the 7times world champion.
Silverstone- yes Massa spun like a dancer, but the team did'nt change his tyres at the first stop expecting the rain not to come but it did, they were the only team to do that.
i'd like to see Hamilton on the wrong tyre in the rain, oh we have Monza Qualifying, he spun as you like to say and finished 15th.
UNDER PRESSURE- come on you really don't understand F1, pressure does'nt just come from inside the car but form out, pressure from your nation and racing for ferrari means the biggest pressure.
Bahrain 2007, Spain 2007, Bahrain 2008, Valencia 2008, dropped back to third in the championship lost a certain victory and to dominate at a new venue instantly, Turkey 2007, having Raikkonen less than a second behind for the 2 stops is enough pressure. 2008, hamilton passing you and not quite sure of his strategy but keep pushing like mad to get him at his final stop is enough.
Hard working family- No doubt, but why is'nt Massa family hard workers, Massa never had a secure futre but Hamilton did with Mclaren aged 13. He got and F1 drive staright away, i'd like to say what he could have done in a 2002 Sauber.
Senna's death- There is no healer, but Brazil has an incrediable F1 history, no other nation pressuizes there F1 drivers than Brazil. Brazil does'nt push its drivers for titles, they expect tiltles.
Now finally Spa, youve probably guessed i'm a Massa fan, Not a ferrari fan. Massa has 11 victories. one of them in Belgium is controversial, and i think Hamilton cheated, if there was a wall there he would not have cut the chicane. Hamilton shot himself in the foot when he said he had no choice but to cut the chicane, that was a lie. he could have backed out but he cut it to give himself the best chance at turn 1. Thats cheating, the fact is that you can't cut chicanes and he did, for that he should be punsihed. The punishment was wrong. He should have recieved a dock of point but no loose the victory. if he would have taken the chicane he would never have passed Raikkonen into turn 1.

Your article on Massa is complete........
You say he made mistakes, which driver on the grid does'nt???
Who made more Hamilton or Massa. OR who made more Massa or RAIKKONEN??????
Massa is at Ferrari because Ferrari see who is quick and who jus is not, they signed him before he had even driven a F1 Car. Michael Schumacher asked them to get him in 2005.
you said Singapore, THE GREEN LIGHT CAME ON!!!! Do you even watch F1????
That cost him the championship!!!!
you said he couldn't match Heidfeld, but could Kubica in 2007???
Now everyone rates him. You say he couldn't match Fisichella, but Fisi has been racing for years and knows what to do in bad cars. Massa had been driving as a tester in 03 and had to switch back to race mode.
Talk about mistakes, well who hit some1 going 30MPH down a pitlane, who let Vettell pased when the championship was at Stake?????
You talk about the car, What you think hamilton would be winning championships in a BMW or Force India??????????????????????????
The best guys get the best cars. You see whos is good in F1 when they win races in winning cars, BUT you see who's special when they win underpressure-
Alonso Imola , Hamilton Silverstone.
But when you win fighting for the championship, thats just class, never mind special, BUT when its the championship and your home race in the rain with your family, every1 whos helped you in your career your father mother brother sister wife, with 100,000 of your nation with millions of your countryman praying and hoping you can end the pain of Ayrton Senna's death, to accept defeat like a man, like a CHAMPION, well then your a top class pilot, never mind the machinery.
Your 100% right, he's not a top driver, he a pilot, a hero.
