Mike's Bio
I'm working on my degree in finance and really enjoy sports. The only thing I enjoy as much as, or possibly more than watching sports is meeting people and talking about sports. I figured I could easily write about intriguing happenings in sports on this site, and hopefully read some other interesting takes on those happenings as well. I don't plan to write all that regularly, but I do intend to keep up with sports, as Sportscenter is a staple of my day.

That's pretty much how I'm feeling.
I just would have rather known that Rodgers was still going to be the back up QB rather than mentally prepare myself that Favre was retired and not coming back.
And now the Packers are faced with terrible choices; keep Favre and leave Rodgers on the bench one more year and the biggest issue is what will that do to Rodgers psychologically after thinking he was the starter for four months?
Secondly; the Packers could release Favre, but the most likely destination for him would be Minnesota! I'm pretty sure I would vomit my heart out and boycott football for 20 years before I would watch Brett Favre in a purple and gold jersey.
Finally they could trade Favre, but that still isn't a very good option, because the best you could get for him would be a third-round draft choice. Even then he wouldn't want to go to a team that'd be able to make it to a Super Bowl.
So, I dunno. I'm on the edge of my sports fan life.
