Hi fellow sports fans, my name is Frankie and I live in London, UK.
I love most sports and find Bleacher Report to be one of the best websites because it written by sports fans for sports fans. No fluff, just great content from quality bloggers and writers.
I currently help out on this free bet sports blog, I enjoy most team sports such as NBA (go Pacers!), American football, rugby, cricket and soccer so if any of you guys like these sports too then please feel free to make a comment.
I hope to start writing my thoughts and opinions on B/R soon. I already contribute to some other sports blogs and forums. Hopefully I can make a worthwhile contribution right here on Bleacher.
A little more about me: I work for a property company in London and have two kids and a beautiful partner who is the boss in our household. When I'm not working I like to travel watch premier league football (Chelsea FC) when I can and also follow my favourite cricket team, the Notts Outlaws.
It is only recently that I have seriously enjoyed watching some quality sports from across the pond. NBA, NFL and Major League Baseball have all got a serious coverage boost right here in the UK with TV channels such as Sky Sports and ESPN broadcasting more live games than ever before.
I really intend on learning more about baseball including the rich history and the complex nature of stats that seem to weigh heavily inside the sport. The teams play so many matches during the season with very little time for preparation so I want to know how the best teams keep that consistency going right through to the World Series.
Awesome, always nice to see a fellow University of Leeds goer. :)
Echoing what Daniel wrote, I'm truly appreciate you becoming a fan of mine.
Great to have you on B/R!
Hello Frankie, thanks for the fan add!
I just visited London for the first time in March, and I loved it. If found it interesting that you want to learn more about baseball and other American sports, because I want to learn more about cricket and Formula 1 myself.
Hope to see you writing for B/R soon. Here's a great piece by King Kauffman on how to write a sample that will get you accepted: http://blog.bleacherreport.com/2013/06/20/how-to-create-a-writing-sample-that-will-get-you-in-to-br/
Hope you continue to interact here on Bleacher. If you want to connect on twitter, my handle is: @DanielO_BR
