I have been an avid Philly sports fan for 45 years. I remember the "Wiz Kids", the "Wheeze Kids", Moses Malone's "Fo-Fo-Fo" playoff prediction (actually came out 4-5-4), the sweep of the hated Lakers in '83, the 2 Stanley Cups, Roman Gabriel's arrival, Pete Rose catching Bob Boone's dropped foul ball in '80 World Series, the "Cutty Sark" fastball of Tug McGraw striking out Royals' Willie Wilson, the "Wild Thing", Veteran's Stadium (the building AND demolishing), RFK Field, Live Aid, The Grateful Dead groupies selling Tofu Dogs (instead of Phillies Franks), Pelle Lindberg, the Spectrum concerts, those 80's Eagles uniforms, Kate Smith, Gene Hart, "Ber-nie, Ber-nie, Ber-nie", Dr. J dunking from the foul line (WAY before Jordan), The Bulletin, Wanamakers....so many memories, so little space...
