I have no idea why you compare the two teams. First of all, Goran and Wade will work because IT ALREADY HAS. The showed last season. Hassan showed he can play. That trio plus Deng played well together. Problem is that they didn't play much near the end of the season because of injuries, but before that, they torched teams. Think about it this way. After the break, we finished 16-16, which is .500. Now remember, that is with Goran hurt and Hassan cutting his hand through the rim. Neither will happen again, because they are freak accidents. Keep that team but those two healthier, and you got an above average team. Then add Bosh, McBob, Winslow, Green, Amar'e, with full chemistry, and with a better Hassan. THAT IS A TITLE CONTENDER. You reallllllly undervalue our players. 4 all stars is a lot
On paper, HOU are contenders. But they will have to show it on the court. Think: Will Ty-Harden work defensively? Will the two fit together on offense? Will Lawson get his head straight. Like I said, on paper, sure. But there will be a lot of work to do on the court
LOOOOOL Where do I begin? First off, Wade Miami was top 8 in PPP with Rio-Wade-Deng-Bosh-Hassan. That is a team ranked top 8 statisically when they played. Now switch Rio for Goran. Use some common sense and think, "If I add an All NBA PG to a lineup for a bench PG, does it make them better?" Because IT DOES. Name one team? CLE almost won it. GS was a first round exit and won it. ATL is a better comparison. They went from 38 wins to 60 wins in one year. Why? BECAUSE THEY WERE HEALTHY. Bosh can return from blood clots. It's not an ACL injury. Wade is still an all star. Bosh is still a superstar on both sides. Hassan averaged 12-10 with 3 BPG in 23 minutes. Play him 36 MPG and you got a 15-15 guy and 4 BPG. Deng is still a very good player. Winslow is going to be good. McRoberts, when healthy, is arguably the best passing big man in the league (2nd in Assist to TO ratio in the entire league in 2013-2014). So you got 4 all star caliber players in Goran, Wade, Bosh, and Hassan. Deng would be considered the worst player in that lineup, and he is still a very good player. And then a bench of Rio-Green-Winslow-McBob-Amar'e, which is one of the best in the East and one of the better benches overall. You are embarrassing yourself. "I don't need statistics" You know why? BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO PROOF. I gave you legit stats that PROVE that Miami is one of the best teams in the league. There is a reason why many analysts would agree so because they actually UNDERSTAND the game of basketball, unlike you. Everyone knows Miami is a contender, whether you like it or not. Injuries don't matter. Any team can stay healthy or get hurt. We had bad luck last season. Did you think Curry and Bogut would stay healthy? No, because if you said yes, you are a liar. Did you predict Al Horford to stay healthy? NOPE. Any team can get hurt and any team get can stay healthy. It is a matter of luck. That is out of the equation. Using statistics and and common basketball knowledge, everyone knows Miami is a contender. You can continue to disagree. You are just salty right now because my team is better than your team right now
So are you a Texans fan too??
