Paul's Bio

Born and raised in southeast Louisiana, I am a life-long fan of the New Orleans Saints. During my 24 years I have seen the lows (too many to discuss here) and the highs (Brian Milne making the biggest fumble recovery in New Orleans history to secure the first playoff victory and Deuce running over the Eagles to lead the Saints to their only NFC Championship Game).

I graduated from LSU and think Tiger Stadium on Saturday night is one of the best places on Earth.

I also closely follow the lovable losers on the north side of Chicago.

I currently teach 7th graders and coach middle school football in Lafayette where I have lived the past couple of years.

  2. "he's my quarterback...*sniff, sniff*"

probably the coolest profile picture on B/R

  3. I too went to LSU, am a Cubs fan, and have been a Saints fan since birth. And also both of our names are Paul. Strange.....

    Love the profile pic!

  4. thanks for the touch up

  5. Hey Paul,

I'm from the Northshore--Mandeville. I went to MHS. Where did you go to school?

  6. I really like LSU but there is this team called Florida who has a QB named Tim Tebow that will dominate the SEC this season

  7. Paul,

Can email me at joe@sportstechnow.com. I am looking for an LSU writer.

  8. yeah that's true. in fact i split La. up into four parts. N.O., B.R., Lafayette and other cajun regions and north La. which i define as anything above the ankle (if you look at La. as a boot).

the first three are wonderful in their own unique ways.

anything above the ankle might as well be mississippi or arkansas.

just my opinion, but you're talking to a guy who spent most of his life in either N.O. or B.R.

  9. Thanks man! I went ahead and posted it. You can find it under the "Featured Articles" section this Friday.

    Thanks again

  10. Great article on Jeremy Shockey being traded to the Saints! I just wanted to know whether I could post in on my blog (under your name of course)? The article would still be yours, obviously, it's just a way of getting it more publicity. I will also post a link to your BR profile. Site address is eaglesfever.blogspot.com (although it is still under construction)! I would like to post your article under the "Around the League" section.

Let me know what you think!

    Thanks

  11. thanks for the POTD paul!!!

  12. I like the overrated coaches article Paul, I disagree with a few things but mostly I just wrote to say good luck with the notre dame fans. They're not going to stop until you give up, its awful.

What's your opinion on Rick Jean-Francois, I'm working on a d-line article for my series and since he didn't play much I can't really get a good sense of his game through the LSU cut ups available.

  13. Thanks for all your help Paul, I'm new to this sports journalism thing but I know if I mix my knowledge of the game with your knowledge of writing, I know I'll be just fine.

  14. thanks for the POTD vote!!

  15. hey paul, i didn't edit any content i was just checking to see how you tagged it b/c your article didn't appear in the lsu football section but you tagged it correctly.
