Scott's Bio

I'm currently a pitcher at Sierra College in Rocklin, CA. We won the state championship in 2008. Before my career at Sierra I was a quarterback at the University of Nevada, Reno. I lived the first 18 years of my life in Alameda, where I grew up a die-hard A's, Warriors, and Raiders fan. Still remember Leo Araguz punting at the Raiders practice field in my hometown. I'm most well known in the Bay Area as the big quarterback who got blasted by current Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch.

When I'm not going to school, at work, working out at the 24, or playing baseball I enjoy to:
-Betting on the first 5 innings of baseball games
-Playing strikeout at Franklin Park in Alameda
-Getting tested on college mascots.
-Listening to games on XM radio
-Playing Baseball Bingo at Sacramento River Cats games
-Smuggling beers into Sacramento River Cat games
-Playing ESPN Scene It
-Playing StratoMatic
-Scouting Little Leagues looking for the next Danny Almonte
-Squeezing a Hawaii football games at 1 in the morning while playing a sit in go poker tournament
-Putting my summer paycheck on the WNBA All-Star game
- Playing MLB "the show" for serious cash

  1. Hey Scott,

I had an awful day today, so I took it out on MLB. Here's my first humor piece on "the worst case scenarios for all 30 teams." If you get the chance, I'd love for you to check it out and let me know what you think.

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/141346-mlb-nightmares-how-bad-can-it-get-humor

As always, thanks for the support, and I hope you enjoy the read/makes your day better!

  2. Did you pick up a copy of MLB 09: The Show yet?? If not, stop what you're doing and go get it. It is awesome.

  3. What's the time frame on posting it?

I've got two projects going, one beginning, one ending. No promises, only hope that I can do it.

I'm bedding down now but I'll touch base tomorrow.

  4. Hey Scott,
I'm Austin the Community Leader for the Tigers and I was interested in doing a Round Table Article on the 2008 Awards for the Tigers. The Awards are for the best Tigers starter, reliever, power hitter, all around hitter, rookie, suprise player and minor leaguer.
Email me your response at thedrake929@wowway.com by the end of September...I will use the best answers in the articles.

PS: give me a reason why you selected that player for that award.
    THANKS

  5. Scott,

After digging deep into the Jim Tressel era at OSU, I've discovered that the close call against Ohio shouldn't be shocking at all...

    I'd love your input!

  6. Scott,

I want to start a B/R college football poll with B/R writers as the pollsters.

If you are interested, I would love for you to participate.

  7. Hey Scott im surprised to see your a white dude like myself. I found you from your article on the slow white wolverenes. I have read some of your other articles and you amuse me. Your website is pretty cool also. Keep on keeping it real. War Terrelle Pryor going to the buckeyes. War the brothers in the run and shoot instead of the shoot and run. OH-IO

  9. hey
i think i posted a critical comment of one of your articles but otherwise i like what i see. I have a website called ruleroto.com that i would call an up and coming website since it is very new. I write for it but i am looking for more writers with fields of expertise that i do not have. If you are looking to get your articles out in other ways this could be a good opportunity. Mabey we could work something out where you can cross publish stuff that you write anyways for bleacher report under your name. write me back if your innterested
    thanks
    joe

  10. Percy Harvin is officially out for tommorow's game. It will give Carl Moore some more game reps. I'm anxious to see how he plays.

  11. A young lady will be with you on the pix deal in...less than 36 hours I'm bettin'.

  12. Let me scout around for an expert. I've no experience with that.

    I'll be back.
