I am a recent journalism graduate of Michigan State University.

I love sports, all sports. My favorites are baseball, hockey, soccer, and college basketball.

I just started learning football about 5-6 years ago. It's quickly jumping into the battle for top three sports in my book.

I work for the sports department at the CBS affiliate in Lansing, under the guidance of famed Detroit and Michigan sports writer/anchor/broadcaster Fred Heumann. I've learned that sometimes the best sporting events aren't the big money professional games, but the games held at your local high schools. Some of these kids nowadays can play.

I also work as a graphic designer out of a family run business.

Gotta give props to the Red Wings on their 11th Stanley Cup, they are just one of the best teams in sports and a prime example of what a great organization is run like.
